TAG also introduced Advanced User Management features, including Access Groups and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Arkona Upgrades IP SolutionsArkona demonstrated its EASY-IP live system, emphasising its capabilities in hybrid SDI/IP routing. The system facilitates seamless integration between SDI and IP infrastructures, enhancing flexibility and efficiency in broadcast operations. Arkona also introduced upgrades to its Blade//runner suite, focusing on providing compact and intelligent IP core infrastructure solutions suitable for broadcasts of all sizes. Enhancements included improvements to the Easy-IP solution and the launch of the JXS16 app, offering high-density UHD JPEG-XS codecs. |

Manifold / Arkona Partnership for Broadcast ProductionManifold unveiled UDX, a service within its Manifold Cloud suite, for broadcast-quality up/down/cross-conversion of UHD, 3G, and HD video. The service boasts high density, capable of up to 96 UHD conversions in a single 1RU server, and integrates seamlessly with other Manifold services. In collaboration with Arkona, Manifold showcased the integration of Arkona’s AT300 programmable acceleration card into Manifold Cloud. This integration enables native SDI signal ingestion, eliminating the need for external SDI-to-IP gateways and supporting hybrid SDI/IP environments. These developments highlight Arkona’s and Manifold’s commitment to advancing broadcast technologies, offering solutions that enhance efficiency, flexibility, and scalability in modern production environments. |

They unveiled a suite of innovations aimed at enhancing broadcast production workflows, visual storytelling, and data visualisation. Here are some highlights. Chyron’s CAMIO system integrates seamlessly with major newsroom computer systems and non-linear editors, enabling efficient creation and management of graphics, maps, and video wall content. The latest enhancements to Virtual Set and Augmented Reality Solutions (VSAR) offer advanced virtual set capabilities, providing broadcasters with immersive storytelling tools. The PRIME graphics platform delivers dynamic graphics for live sports and venue productions. New features include enhanced designer capabilities and expanded support for various input and output formats. EVS Smoothes IP Transition and Enhances Live ProductionEVS’s industry-leading Cerebrum system incorporates native Software-Defined Networking (SDN) capabilities that enable efficient monitoring, control, and policy management of IP infrastructures. Updates for Cerebrum introduce a more advanced distributed client-server architecture supporting distributed hosting of control panels and web clients, as well as single sign-on (SSO) and Reverse Proxy functionalities. These improvements ensure a higher level of security and operational efficiency, especially for remote production workflows. Neuron View, the ultra-low latency and power efficient multiviewer, features an improved web-based multiview editor, allowing users to easily modify their layouts on the fly and in real time. As part of its MediaInfra offering, EVS also showcased Strada®, a complete routing system designed for hybrid environments that enables users that are heavily invested in SDI to transition to IP at their own pace – all while ensuring full interoperability between SDI and IP systems. |
