Two new Broadcast Support and Deployment Engineers

Magna Systems & Engineering has again further bolstered its team with the addition of two new Broadcast Support and Deployment Engineers – Sandra Soh and Muhammad Nurhisyam Jasni (Hisyam) – based out of their Singapore office.

Muhammad Nurhisyam Jasni (Hisyam)

Hisyam, known in the industry for being a skilled and experienced broadcast media professional with 10 years’ experience in broadcast operations management and technical support, customer service and sales brings with him exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. He is also bilingual in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Most recently, Hisyam enjoyed considerable success as Content Operation Editor at The Walt Disney Company and Master Control Officer (Sports) and Network Origination Controller at Encompass Digital Media.

Sandra Soh

Sandra Soh is proficient in English and Mandarin and has technical skills that cover broadcast systems, workflow design, system integration, networking and VOD workflow. As a result, her new position at Magna also includes the role of Project Manager.

She also has strong interpersonal skills, which, along with her technical expertise, has seen her in several successful roles, including Broadcast Support Engineer and Executive in Broadcast Operation at Globecast Asia Singapore and Technical Assistant at The Star Performing Art Centre Singapore.

Technical, Broadcast Support, Workflow and System Integration Skills

Magna Director – Sales and Operations (Asia) Patrick So said, “In their roles as Broadcast Support and Deployment Engineers Hisyam and Sandra will install, configure, deploy and seamlessly integrate broadcast systems including servers, storage solutions, networking equipment and software applications. They will also collaborate with Magna’s clients to understand their technical requirements and design customised solutions to meet their needs.”

They will further collaborate with Magna’s engineering teams and vendors to provide training and technical support to clients on the use and maintenance of all systems. A key part of their training and support will include conducting product demonstrations and presentations.
